By the way, Bill's son,dated/married the 13 yr.old's Mother."Keepin it in the Family".A boy can move out of their parents house at 18, a girl at 17. I've had to deal with this myself about a year ago when I was taken to court.
If the guy or girl is dating someone younger and they are 21 or older the person they are dating has to be at least 17.
There never was sexual contact and we aren't planning on it until we are married.
Use this occasion to connect with your daughter in an even more meaningful manner.
Try to remember what it was like to be her age before you begin these talks.
If she experiences your openness and empathy, she will be more likely to come to you for support and understanding as she navigates the confusing, often overwhelming, waters of adolescence.
Im a 17 year old junior, and i asked out a 14 year old freshman girl who i really like.
she was 21 and her boyfriend was 17 and they wanted to move in together so she asked a judge about it and he said if the parent is okay with it that a 14 year old and 20 year old can legally date. if somebody wants to have an age difference in their dating, who cares. He married her, when she was 18, and she got a Skin Disease, which effected her looks, he dumped her. He didn't get any ridacule, like Jerry Lee Lewis, did.
somebody asked on here if that was legal so i put my input on what my friend asked. It's against the Law,unless you're Bill Wyman, former Bassist, and ex-Rolling Stones member, who had a 13girlfriend,when he was like 57.
There was a letter to my daughter from a 17-year-old boy. We don't know if we trust her now, and we wonder what's wrong with a 17-year-old who would be interested in someone so much younger. When she came home today, she went straight to her room and won't talk to us. I would guess that she has kept this relationship from you because she knows that you would disapprove of it because of the disparity in their ages.
