How do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband?
Or, how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife?
The Bible has much more to say about this issue of Christians marrying non-Christians: To the rest I say this (I, not the Lord): If any brother has a wife who is not a believer and she is willing to live with him, he must not divorce her.
And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to live with her, she must not divorce him.
It is important to keep in mind that when a believer marries a non-believer, it can lead the Christian astray.
Look at Solomon: the Bible says his wives turned him towards other false Gods and idols. The divorce rate is high enough as it is (even among “alleged” Christians).Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do.First, for a historical perspective, let’s look at the Old Testament for a moment.Does the Old Testament have anything to say about marriages among God’s people and unbelievers? For the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified through her believing husband.
