You should get your answers from her to find out the real [email protected] Rq Man Thank you for replying. But I want to tell you something, and please remember this.
There are many things about your country Turkey and about its culture and about the Turkish people that is beautiful and good.
Is there a problem for a black man to marry a Turkish woman? Tell me, why do you think Turks are racist about a black man marrying a Turkish woman? And yet when I hear that they are racist towards blacks, it is very sad and troubling. But your situation is not normal, you are foreign but black, they don't care you are christian or not, they don't prefer you bcs you are black in my opinion On the other hand, everything is possible in life as you [email protected] Sys Rq Man Then, what you are saying is that a white man -- whatever his religion -- can marry a Turkish woman. But if a black man -- even if he is a Muslim -- wants to marry a Turkish woman, he cannot. The Turks only see that he is a black man, and only because he is black, they reject him. If this is true, then sadly the Turks are racist people.
Will the family of that Turkish woman refuse to allow her to marry a black man? And what about children who are half Turkish and half black? It seems that Turkey is a modern, Westernized country. What is the difference between a white man and a black man? Why do Turks accept a white man from Europe or America to marry a Turkish woman and reject a black man? It can be that the black man has better education, a better job and income, is more kind and a better husband than the white man. @onder Ankara Yes, I know that Turkey is similar in many ways to countries in the EU. I made this post because I want to know why, if it is true, Turks are racist. The real truth is that Turks are racist about religion's creedy it means if Yours and hers creedies(catholic or protestan, alevi or sunni) are different then your chance is weak.. The family of the woman and Turkish society will not accept him. They worship the white man and desire him no matter what he really is -- good or bad.
It is not about being slave or master, Turks' mantelity is not this.
And original Turks are already white, we are not coming from Arabic.
But does it still have the prejudiced attitude and racist views towards blacks that people in the Middle East have? I know that Turkey is a modern country and can be Western in many ways. generally most of the parents/relations don't wanna their children to marry in that position, they don't allow.. It means that the Turks have a problem with their own identity.
It seems that it is acceptable for a white man from Europe or North America or Australia or New Zealand to marry a Turkish woman, But what about a black man? if you do it then they don't invite you to special cerenomy etc. @Sys Rq Man Again, thank you for your reply and sharing your knowledge with me. So, are you saying that it really is not about race? It means that the Turks do not have confidence in themselves.
I believe that the Turkish people are good people and much better than this bad thinking. I am Latin American (Dominican) and I married a Turkish man. I was concerned about my skin color at first but after I met the family everything has been very good.
My in-laws loves me ( I called them baba and anne) Just give yourself a [email protected] you for your reply.
I am black with dark skin and with black features (thick lips, round nose, kinky hair).
